Dates to note:

 

29^th April                Global Focus service where Prue Smith leads a service that bring in people who have experience in serving overseas or with NGO’s.

Jumbunna is not going out separately during this service but will be welcome to be part of this service.  It is being planned that there will be a meaningful way that kids can engage in this service. 

 

May 6^th                   Heritage Gardens.  Walking down Canterbury Rd (just over Bayswater Rd intersection) to the Heritage Gardens facility.  Singing and doing other activities with residents.  Walking back to TLC for soft serve ice-cream.

                             Please hand in permission slip early in term 2. 

 

June 10^th             No Jumbunna as it is the LWE and State Youth Games.

 

June 17^th             No Jumbunna      

 

 

Jumbunna is an Aboriginal word that means " to sit and talk together".

The name was chosen out of a process of TLC commumity consultation and goes well to describing our character.

Jumbunna is for ages prep - yr 6 and runs during school term during part of the church service.
